1. Wakefield NEVER stated in the paper that vaccines/mmr caused autism If people took the time to actual READ the paper and the conclusion you would know the truth. First of all it was a co-hort study with 12 researchers. Second, Wakefield was not the person handling the data. Prof. DR. Walker-Smith was. Here is what the paper actually stated:

Here are the major conclusions of the Wakefield paper that are being retracted, although their accuracy has not been disputed:

Wakefield AJ, Murch SH, Anthony A, et al. Ileal-lymphoid-nodular hyperplasia, non-specific colitis, and pervasive developmental disorder in children. Lancet 1998; 351: 637-641.

We did not prove an association between measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and the syndrome described. Virological studies are underway that may help to resolve
    this issue.

If there is a causal link between measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and this syndrome, a rising incidence might be anticipated after the introduction of this vaccine in the UK in 1988. Published evidence is inadequate to show whether there is a change in incidence or a link with measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine. A genetic predisposition to autistic-spectrum disorders is suggested by over-representation in boys and a greater concordanc rate in monozygotic than in dizygotic twins…

We have identified a chronic enterocolitis in children that may be related to neuropsychiatric dysfunction. In most cases, onset of symptoms was after measles, mumps, and rubella immunisation. Further investigations are needed to examine this syndrome and its possible
    relation to this vaccine.

The paper is still on the Lancet website.

Why did the Lancet retract the paper ? The editors list two reasons: the children were not "consecutively referred" and the studies weren't approved by the local ethics committee. Well, after the many prior investigations of this paper, I am astonished that it took 12 years for Lancet to discover this so called error. Sounds fishy. BUT—-The England and Wales High Court (Administrative Court) Decisions of February 2012 adjudicated in the trial of Prof. Dr. walker-Smith who sued to have his license returned stated this:

The judge, MR JUSTICE MITTING, who presided over Walker-Smith's exoneration and reviewed the Lancet paper in detail could not find any evidence of this. His one major quibble was over the statement about ethical approval paper which Walker-Smith says he did not see – however this is accurate too.

    "Ethical approval and consent

"Investigations were approved by the Ethical Practices Committee of the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust, and parents gave informed consent."

The paper did not have ethical approval and consent, and did not need it because it was simply a review of patient data (which was what was on the tin). The procedures needed ethical approval and consent and had them.

From an ethical standpoint that paper should have been re-instated in 2012 but if that happens, game over for pharma. Wakefield, if he had the money would use the same info that Walker-Smith used at his trial if he had the money to sue in England. Walker-Smith had insurance to pay his court cost & attorney fees, Wakefield lost his. Read the court case:

England and Wales High Court (Administrative Court) Decision Between:
    PROFESSOR JOHN WALKER-SMITH Appellant – and – GENERAL MEDICAL-RESPONDENT Hearing dates: 13th. 14th, 15th, 16th & 17th February 2012.

After the court case in favor of Walker-Smith, Brian Deer, the person who actually filed the charges against Wakefield, now says about the accusation: Who Can Say?

What continue to astonish me is why NO ethical investigative reporter or anyone in the medical field has asked: HOW DID BRIAN DEER, A REPORTER, GET ACCESS TO CHILDREN'S PRIVATE CONFIDENTIAL MEDICAL RECORDS TO EVEN FILE CHARGES? No one has yet to answer this.

  2. Austim is caused by genetics and environmental factors , wiring and functionality of one's brain it's lifelong condition that you were either born with not , not something you can catch or develop over a stupid vaccine symptoms appear at infant age to primer.

  3. All you idiots who believe vaccines are “dangerous” should not be given such privilege. There are childrens dying from these deadly diseases due to lack of vaccine and all u guys can argue about is how the pharma company is ripping you off. You clowns should all be shot!

  5. Mate, I’m autistic and can tell you that me and my three siblings were given vaccines at birth. Only I have autism, and my siblings exhibit no signs of autism. Yes, it’s definitely an intelligent decision to claim that your very DNA can be so heavily morphed as to diagnose you with autism. Pure retardation

  6. There must be a community of people that do not get vaccinated and we can study whether there is any history of autism among them.

  7. They dont make much profit with vaccinations, BUT they they do sell expensive meds for the following mental illnesses and diseases. Its still a business model to make profit, nobody can deny that. If this is the price for "safety" well, I would think twice about this.

  8. Vaccines have no ingredient labeling. Some vaccines are "salt water", some are good, and some are dangerous experiments. How come that my Government (Norway) speculates in vaccine stocks and have plenty of vaccines ready before the epidemics are known?

  9. Welcome imbeciles of the internet unite! Welcome to the depths of internet hell. Rasputin returns, in the form of a suave yuppy. The idiot jocks that fell asleep during science class are now telling us to 'wake up'. You're in your 40's and now you think you're going to 'learn things'. You have a better chance of learning how to play a violin than to understand basic scientific reasoning; the ship has sailed. Face it, you are all a bunch of certifiable howling idiots. You and your idiot FOX friends should stick to finding the vaccine puncture wounds in the earth that made it flat.

  10. The main reason why I’m not Anti-Vax, besides common sense, is that the only argument that Anti-Vaxxers have is Post Hoc Ergo Proctor Hoc(which is basically saying after this therefore because of this); they can’t say that it’s genetic at all, they only this happened therefore because of this. That’s it.

  11. Basic probability is need it. A few Vs millions. More and better research will always be needed but to say that vaccines do more harm than good is just idiotic, lame, ignorant…

  12. Dr. Wakefield you have my deepest respects. You are a man that is not afraid to stand up to the corrupt system that runs our country and tell it as it is. You are making the sacrifices that no one wants to make, but you will go down in history as a HERO.

  13. I remember reading a study saying why it’s mainly in boys girls too but mainly boys because of the interaction with mmr with testosterone

  14. These antivaxxers are delusional paranoid conspiracy nutballs. This is not a controversy in real medicine. Wakefield lost his medical license because of his fraud. People in a free country are free to lie. This film is a lie.
