  1. So the reason I know this is that I'm doing research on this topic we have a full set of and Encyclopaedias and I've been doing research In there and I have to right a 2 Paige paper on Anne frank for a homeschool assignment and yes they were betrayed. This is copying part of the encyclopaedia, " In 1942, during the nazi occupation of the Netherlands, the family hid in a secret annex behind the Amsterdam office of her father's business. Anne recorded her experiences In a diary. Two years later the family was betrayed and arrested. Anne died in the nazi concentration camp at Belsen." That's what I've learned but this could be the same news your basing your thing off of. I will definitely be doing mor research on this though!

  2. First of all, is like you said, conspiracy theory. But the truth is that the former nazi who arrested the Franks was the Austrian, Karl Silberbauer. He was later found by the Dutch police. Although he disclosed what he knew, Silberbauer was unable to provide any information that could help further the Dutch police's investigation into the Dutch collaborator who provided the tip. He explained that the call was taken by his commanding officer, SS LieutenantJulius Dettmann, who said only that the information came from "a reliable source".  As Dettmann had committed suicide in a POW camp after the end of the war, the second investigation also hit a dead end. That's what happened. And Anne had other diaries other the iconic one we are familiar with, just that some were lost or destroyed apparently.

But there is one other thing I did noticed. In Anne's diary, at the beginning if I am not mistaken, she wrote down that at first days there were hard discussions with the van Pels too. In my opinion, such loud arguments could be heard. Also I know that one time a boy got to see a glimpse of someone from the building's window, it was Anne. But because the boy wasn't exactly looking straight as he was wandering around, when he looked again no one was there. I have also wondered the possibilities of other factors too but I don't want this message be so long.

  4. i think the only reason the hand writing change was because she was rushing and she didn't write it in the hours where they had to be silent

  5. I visited the Netherlands in the 1960s and visited the Police station that took the betrayal phone call. The call existed and the Police had tried a few times to find the caller. I spoke to the person who took the call. I'm sure it happened. Audrey Hepburn could not be confused with Anne Frank. They only mildly resemble one another.

  6. There were three version of the diaries(as per I read recently). a. The one she began to write for her personal purpose. b. The one which she wrote based on version a. so that to get it published after the war ends as it was announced that any personal anecdotes relating to war would be published. c. Otto Frank's version based on version a. and version b. where he skipped many part to make it precise and 'decent'. He might have avoided some very personal incidents written by Anne in her diary which Otto thought should be kept secret out of the respect for the dead.

  7. i have studied anne frank for a long tme im jewish thats why i learned about her lot. Anne did it meip saved it and gave it to otto right after he came to his company and told everyone anne and margot arent coming home. than he read it and put everything second after this diary. he said "i have read it alot and i read pages to make me smile" he published it and never knew anne wanted it to be published. no one ever made any name changes. beacause if they did then whats the point of telling everyone their story if mostly all the names were fake. im done with all these stupid theories!!!
    GOOD VIDEO THOUGH

  8. What else written there could make you see the story different ?! ..they were treated worse than you would treat anything on this planet ! Nothing written in that diary will change the facts ! And no one should have the right to judge Otto or anyone from that period ! You people werent there !
    #Ignorants!
You didnt understand anything from that part of the history..,is just wasted time for you.

  9. The German police forensics proved it was fake written in ball point pen which was not invented until 1951. Author Meyer Levin sued Otto Frank for using his material in the diary and won in court and Otto Frank admits he co authored the diary. IT A FAKE DIARY MADE UP LIES, FAIRY TALE.

  10. Are you seriously that stupid? She was a young girl who got given a diary from her father as he knew WW2 was coming and wanted her to put her thoughts and feelings about herself and life on paper as a thing to do.
Then sadly they got arrested for being Jewish and died sadly in a camp. Her dad Otto luckly survied and collected the dairy and really saw what she wrote and he decided to edit it of spelling and names and give it to publishers so they could see the actual thoughts of a young girl who was discovering the world and how she had some light on such horrible events happening around her.

    You are so stupid.
